Sew a pair of Chanterelle Pants in this supportive class in Grand Marais, Minnesota. Instructors Dorothy Broomall and Alyssa Hedstrom will provide tutorials on measuring for fit, choosing a size, selecting supplies, using a pattern, preparing fabric, making a practice pair and adjusting pattern as needed so your final pair fits just how you like.
Choose from three variations included in the pattern - wide leg, barrel leg, and shorts.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner

Course Outline
Week 1 - Wednesday, October 14
Measure, choose a size and style, order pattern, fabric, and supplies.
Please wear leggings and fitted shirt.
Week 2 - Wednesday, October 21
Assemble and / or cut out a pattern. Prepare practice fabric: iron, pin pattern, cut pieces.
Please bring printed pattern and pre-washed practice fabric.
Week 3 - Wednesday, October 28
Sew practice pair with elastic and no pockets.
Week 4 - Wednesday, November 4
Fit check! Adjust pattern based on practice pair.
Week 5 - Wednesday, November 11
Prepare fancy fabric: ironing, pinning pattern, cutting pieces.
Please bring pre-washed fancy fabric.
Week 6 - Wednesday, November 18
Sew final pair of pants. Tips and Tricks. Troubleshooting.
